God has blessed me with such a great Easter(Even tho there was no sight of neither the Easter bunny, Easter eggs or anything remotely yellow and sweet).
On Good Friday we had J.John in church, he is such an amazing speaker! Looks a bit like Mr Bean and talks like him as well, but he has this incredible gift of being hilarious yet at the same time making the message clear for everyone. He also has a gift of speaking in plain words, making the word of God understandable to everyone.
On Saturday after the café a bunch of us went for Italian, at this place in St Michel that Paul knew about. Pizza Marguerita on Easter Eve, now that's not exactly what I'd call mum's lamb steak, but hey: we're in Paris, who cares.
On Sunday at Connect Group we were 16 people, amazing! Quite possibly the biggest group ever. I felt I had to shout in the café to make everyone hear me. Claire and two people from her CG came as well. Such a great group! I love these people so much.
Afterwards I went with Alex to stay over at her house for the night, she works as an au pair in Argenteuil, a suburb of Paris. Alex is an amazing girl who really lives for God, and she is so strong. (plus has a beautiful voice, which I envy so so much) She looks after three wild kids, two girls and a boy. At night we made dinner (or she did, everyone knows I can't cook), Chicken curry with salad, bread and wine. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....
I feel so blessed. I just want to praise God every chance I get. It's like all the pieces in my life are falling in place, God just keeps providing in every area of my life. I love it! I'm blessed to be a blessing for others, and it feels so great to be able to say that. I am blessed with so many things, and I wanna be a blessing for other's.
Tuesday we had Girl's Night with Cathy Clarke in a GORGEOUS hotel, Cathy spoke from Acts 2,42-47 about how we as women should act in our own lives as well as in others; she talked about the disciples how they shared meals together, prayed together, cared for each other, shared of their properties, shared the word of God and spent time with each other. It was so beautiful, we all prayed for each other in the end, the atmosphere was so filled with love and compassion. There's nothing like gathering all the girls in church for things like this, the feeling of belonging and care is so strong. I love it when Cathy comes over from London, she is an amazing speaker and person, it's so obvious when she talks that this is really something burning in her heart that she wants to share with us.
