The girl is me, and the great news is this:
I get to go to Hillsong Colour Your World Women's Conference!! (see link)
I've been wanting to go so bad, but I couldn't afford it, plus it turned out I had an exam at the same time. So every Friday in church while promoting Colour, I've been saying "it's such a great conference, you really have to go!" to the girls or women I talked with, while at the same time thinking: I wish I could be so lucky....
Then a sudden series of event occured which I am still trying to grasp my head around:
It turned out the duration of my exam was eight days and not four as I originally thought. That would give me more time to work on the exam, in fact two days before and three days after Colour. In addition to that, I'm only working half time cause one of the families I work for (Matheo, the little 1 year-old) are going away for holiday, which gives me even MORE time to work on exam (plus all of a sudden I find myself with money I didn't count on having, so I can afford to work less as well). Then Andromeda mentioned church could help me with ticket to Colour if I can't afford it. In fact, they would be willing to offer it to me.
Then David said he couldn't go to Colour after all to help out because of work, which meant he had a train ticket he didn't need. he wanted to GIVE it away, and he gave it to me! (David, you're a man of God)
SO, not only am I working less and have better time on exam, all of a sudden I find myself with both ticket to Colour AND train ticket - for free.
And Colour is only one week away, while I've been sulking about not being able to go since Christmas!
How crazy is this!!
And guess who's the happiest girl in all of the world right now.
HALLELUJAH PRAISE THE LORD! Truly I am so so grateful
*biggest smile ever*
