Last weekend was Hillsong Women's Conference in Wembley Conference Center, London.
It was so INCREDIBLE!
Girls who I went with: Wasn't it awesome?!
Girls who weren't there: next year, babes, next year! It was beyond everything I pictured it to be. 2500 women crowded together for the word of God, spoken by amazing women like Bobbie Houston, Holly Wagner, Christine Caine, Vera Kasevich (Hillsong Kiev), Marilyn Skinner and our very own Cathy Clarke.
There were so many powerful messages, so many healing words, laughter, crying, so many great testimonies.
I really love the mandate of it all: that we are Warriors, Princesses, and Daughters of the King. Can it get any better? We're His precious daughters, we're powerful, we're beautiful and we're risen to change planet Earth.
I felt so empowered by it all, and at the same time so overwhelmed. God has put desires in my heart to continue all of this, to bring the message out to women who are yet to know how worthy they are. It's been in my heart for so long, but I've never dared listen to it. How can I get involved in all this, God? I'm just a little girl.
Then God spoke to me in a way He has never spoken to me before. I felt his voice in my heart, he gave me specific things to do, things I need to do in order to achieve all my heart's desires. It was so beautiful. Okay, so it took 2500 women and an entire women's conference for me to fully accept His commands, but now I'm there. And it has just begun.
(Ps. Thank you Lord for amazing girlfriends like Camille to work alongside with! I can't wait to get started.)
We were about 30-40 girls from Paris, with reserved seats and everything (felt kinda special, I must admit). Girls from hillsong london let us stay at their houses, which was so kind of them.
Throughout the weekend we were spoilt, pampered and treated like princesses. Heaps of guys on their toes to help out as voulenteers, free brunch (see pic, cutest lunch box ever!), massage, brownies, chocolat, roses, gifts..... I am still smiling.
There's something about gathering that many women under the same roof. Women have this unique gift of caring for each other, this sense of love and compassion that seem to come from nowhere. It's just the way God has created us.
I've read a book called 'Captivating' by Stasi and John Eldredge (probably the best Christian book I have ever read!), a book about women, what we feel about ourselves and who we really are in God's image. It says that the One question every girl asks herself is this: "Am I beautiful?"
And after seeing all the women at the conference - young, old, tall, short, curly hair, straight hair, black, brown, white, asian, ginger, blonde, brunette, colours, dresses, earrings, jeans and trainers, glasses, piercings, blue eyes, green eyes, brown eyes, thick, thin, loud, quiet, smiling, laughing, talking, boots, high heels, sandals, ribbons, pony tails, fringes, rings, bracelets, bags, perfums, nail polish, lip sticks, make-up, no make-up, dots, stripes, scarves and giggles -
I can honestly answer to every woman who reads this:
"Yes, you are beautiful."
