Today I had my last exam in history of art.... It went so great, I got a C!!!
*frenzic dancing and clapping*
I celebrated with ice cream, mum's apple pie and coffee. Woohoo!!
Normally a 'C' is a disappointment for me. Yes I admit I am an (almost) uncurable perfectionist. And I think had I actually stayed in Norway and followed tuition, gone to classes every day, I would have settled for nothing less than an A. But seeing as I did it while living in Paris - I think I went to class two days in the beginning of the year - while studying French at Sorbonne, I think I am entitled to be a little proud over straight C's.
Btw the urinal in the picture is one of the things I had to analyze... I did a 15 min presentation of it...! it's incredible what you can say about a urinal just because someone signed it and put it in an art gallery!
I now have officially completed first year of a bachelor'r degree, L1 as it's called in French, or 'årsstudium' in Norwegian. I am not sure what to do with it tho. God knows, literally.
Maybe I'll extend it to a bachelor later? I have 40 credit points in French, which is aaaalmost an L1, and added up to this one, I just need one year + one subject to have a bachelor in language & arts. How cool is that?! Well, I think it is anyways.
So this is the plan for the rest of the day:
- lay in the sun
- read Darlene Zschechs "Kiss of heaven"
- listening to the new Hillsong London album
- play with my dog
- meet up with a friend for coffee
And the best part: I don't have to study.... ooooooooooh yess!
For everyone out there still panicking over your books:
"God is strong and He wants you strong"
Eph 6,10 (MSG)
"'For I know the plans I have for you', declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future'."
Jer 29,11 (NIV)
