Road Trip II: epilogue

It's Sunday evening and we just came home from another fun-trip to Nesvåg. Even tho it was somewhat different from last time, it's been a really nice weekend and once more like a small vacation. We just love Nesvåg! We love Hauge i Dalane, probably the most beautiful place in Norway (well, one of them at least).

Unlike last time we hardly took any photos, so all the more telling instead:
We set out after work Friday afternoon, beautiful wather, Stine was driving, through southwestern landcape....

Isn't it beautiful! And obviously I had to take some fun we're-out driving-and-someone-is-taking-a-picture-of-us photos, where I pretend like nothing's going on while Stine tries oneside-smiling. Or making a face, whatever. We're so cute!

This time, seeing as we knew we were driving straight to Nesvåg, we didn't use a coin, so we had to take a picture of the non-excistent coin aswell...

....And that's about all the photos that we took!! I know, so not like us.

So, here's a quick report of the rest of the weekend:

- Friday night: got settled in, went out with Kristian for a swim, lovely! Hung out, had fun, went to buy food n stuff. Decided to watch a movie, "Unbreakable" with Bruce Willis. I just love the director, M. Night Shymalan, he's so good! Later on Thomas came aswell, Stine's elder brother and friend of Kristian. After the movie, as night dawned, the four of us sat outside having coffee, laughing n talking, and playing guitar, as Thomas brought his. He can really play guitar! It was really nice. Several versions of "Jolene" went by.......

- Saturday: slept until 11.30, had a lazy day in, went out only to buy food, we had breakfast at almost 2pm.......... hoho! Fed the rabbits and cuddled them & the cats, and me, Kristian & Stine went for a walk with a view. Made dinner - taco - and Kristian's brother joined us.

At night Thomas went home and the rest of us went to an outdoor concert with this guy:

- Frank "Tønes" Tønnesen, the great hero of the town. Celebrating 10yrs as an artist it was a good concert, lots of laughing and funny lyrics, good music!

Afterwards we went to visit some friends of Kristian's, sat outside on the terrace in the dark night with candle lights, snacks and coffee.....mmmmm.

- Sunday: As in today, got up late, had breakfast, went for a swim, met some of Kristian's relatives, went home to eat, went out to the sea and tried to get a tan/reading/relaxing/, went back home, packed, and took off. It's been a great weekend, so valued when we work every day and haven't got any vacation. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Now I am dead tired, the prospect of Monday and work tomorrow is just.......YUCK!
