The travelbug in action

Here I was, thinking I wouldn't have any vacation this year, apart from a couple of weekend trips. I knew I had a week before school starts on 13th of Sep, but I didn't think I would travel much, I mean:
a. I can't afford it
b. It's the first week of September, hols are over, probably the good weather aswell
c. I don't have anyone to travel with

But then!

I searched the internet for train tickets, thinking I might visit Stine in Kristiansand or something (as if I hadn't seen enough of her already...), and out of curiosity I plotted in 'Mo i Rana' instead of Kristiansand, which is where I have half of my relatives and where I've spent most of my childhood vacations (memories.......ah). I love my family and would love to visit them.
And guess what: train tickets were 498NOK!! I mean, COME ON!! That's about a little over 60€. And we're talking a 24 hour train ride all across Norway, with return! (That's another thing, some ppl find sitting on a train for that long a PAIN, but I LOVE it!)
So of course I had to book.
I am so looking forward to going!! Last year was great, I really love it up there, it feels like home to me (going back to my roots...)

Aaaaand

I booked plane tickets for Paris aswell, seeing as now I know when I'm going back (12th of Sep you guys!). I thought it was going to be more expensive cause I'd miss the cheap Saturday ticket, but oh no, it turned out to be CHEAPER!
Wooohoooooooooooo

*getting all excited*

This certainly feels like a Malachi 3-answer to prayer to me!! (look in the Bible)
